Beatrice from Surfers Paradise thought she had everything planned until the day before the wedding arrangement with her beloved puppy Bear fell apart.
Beatrice who got married at the Fig Tree Restaurant shares her experience with how Amy “saved the day”,
“Amy you're absolutely amazing! We wanted our puppy to join in on our wedding day. We were staying in a holiday house in Byron and pets weren't allowed. So we made arrangements for bear to stay somewhere else. However day before our arrangements fell apart. I was slowly turning into bridezilla. I called PetCloud (who sorted everything out with Amy) Amy came and picked up bear. She dropped him off at the wedding venue and picked him up again later that day. She went above and beyond, next time we are in Byron we will definitely be using Amy. Thank you Amy for saving our day!!!”

New Greencross Partnership is a game changer for dog owners

PetCloud is an all Australian company that has just partnered with Greencross Limited, which include Greencross Vets, Pet Barn and City Farmers.

Greencross Limited is Australasia’s largest integrated consumer facing pet care company with over 300 veterinary clinics, pet specialty retail stores and vet related entities in Australia and New Zealand.

This new partnership means PetCloud has received investment from and is partnered with the two largest Pet and Vet Organisations in Asia Pacific which is great for PetCloud customers.

“Our Greencross Partnership means we will be able to reach and service more Australians and their pets with a full pet care experience from care products right through to Vet Services,” said CEO and founder of PetCloud, Deb Morrison.

PetCloud is an Australian start up business in the sharing economy, much like AirBnB but for dogs, connecting a national network of trusted pet sitters and services with pet owners in an easy, accessible and safe online platform.

Animal Medicines Australia’s 2016 national survey, Pet Ownership in Australia, found Australians pet expenditure has increased by 31% to $12.2 billion last year with the rise of the ‘fur baby’.

With there being 24 million pets in Australia and the market for premium products, services and insurance growing PetCloud is meeting the emerging market demand to connect pet owners with services.

Unlike our two main competitors who are foreign owned, PetCloud is an all Australian company.

PetCloud's high performing team last year were finalists in the Lord Mayor’s Business Awards for Digital Strategy and High Growth Business Start Up.

Pet Cloud is free for Pet Sitters and Pet Owners to create a profile.  It is also free for Pet Owners to search for Pet Sitters across the website and in their local area.  Pet Owners then arrange a free ‘Meet & Greet’ with a potential Pet Sitter. PetCloud charges a small surcharge to help cover costs.

Press Release Compouding for Australian Pet Medicines

Even in this low interest environment, Australians know the power of compound interest.

We all remember the lessons our parents taught us about how compound interest can make us rich (of course, it was much easier back in the 80s when bank interest rates rocketed to over 15%).
Even with interest rates at all time historical lows, one Australian pet business is seeing amazing growth, but it’s a different sort of compounding that's creating the interest this time.

Already a leader in filling discount veterinary scripts for Aussie pet owners, cutting edge online pet pharmacy PetScripts.com.au now also offers a compounding service to those dog and cat owners whose veterinarians have written prescriptions for custom or compounded drugs.

Whether it's unique dosage forms like transdermal gels, troches and chewies, combinations of compatible veterinary medicines, or vet meds that aren't commercially available, PetScripts'  pharmacists use the latest veterinary pharmacy knowledge and state-of- the-art technology to prepare customized medications to meet a pet's specific needs. Compounding medications are a big plus for owners of difficult pets that won't swallow tablets or very large or small pets that can't take standard sized pills.

And with Australian vets writing more and more prescriptions for compounded veterinary drugs, PetScripts has reported that interest in its online service at https://www.petscripts.com.au/compounding-pharmacy/ is soaring.

"Since we launched our specialist pet pharmacy last year, we've been helping Australian animal lovers save money on veterinary prescriptions for leading brand pet medications like Carprofen, Vetmedin and Apoquel" says founder and chief veterinarian Dr Mark Perissinotto," but since we've included veterinary compounding for products containing actives like Amiodipine, Calcitriol and Fluoxetine last month, we've seen visits and orders grow at an exponential rate".

Perhaps that's not surprising given reports of a rapidly growing willingness amongst Australian vets to prescribe compounded medicines. According to one industry insider, it's estimated that the market for compounding medicines for dogs and cats in Australia is growing at 80-110% per annum.
Dr Perissinotto attributes the success of PetScripts.com.au to some straightforward but sometimes overlooked fundamentals. "Outstanding customer service is the key" he says. " From our pharmacists, right through to our assistants and customer service staff and our IT and marketing team,  we know how much our customers trust us to deliver the highest grade medicines, quickly, efficiently and at a competitive price and we work damn hard to deliver."

By using only Australian registered pharmacists based right here in Australia and only premium grade fully government approved raw ingredients, and constantly working to improve systems and efficiency, PetScripts.com.au is confident that it will keep and grow its position as the leader in Australian veterinary pharmacy online.

About PetScripts: PetScripts.com.au is an online service allowing Australian pet owners who hold a valid prescription from an Australian veterinarian to order prescription pet medicines from Australian registered pharmacists. For more information visit www.PetScripts.com.au

IndyVet, which launched RSPCA Allwormer and RSPCA Heartwormer last year, reports that the RSPCA branded parasite control products have been very well received by Australian pet lovers. Dr Mark Perissinotto, IndyVet CEO and Chief Veterinary Officer said he's not surprised by the strong support. "We're giving Aussie consumers reasonably priced and effective parasite control that also contribute to the RSPCA. Who wouldn't want to support that?"
"External parasite control is very important for the welfare of Australian dogs and cats, and RSPCA Flea Control gives pet owners an effective and great priced flea control option. Sales of this product support the work of the RSPCA " said Heather Neil, RSPCA Australia CEO.
A portion of revenue from the sale of the RSPCA Animal Health Products supports the valuable work of the RSPCA. By choosing them, Australian pet owners can be Twice the Pet Hero, protecting their own pets from nasty parasites and supporting the ongoing work of the RSPCA.
According to research released by the Guardian in December 2015 the RSPCA is the most influential animal welfare organisation in Australia. Perhaps to be expected when you remember that the RSPCA has consistently ranked among Australia’s most trusted charities in the Reader’s Digest Most Trusted Survey, and has ranked highest for any animal welfare organisation.
"We're incredibly aware of the trust Australian pet owners put in the RSPCA" Dr Perissinotto said. "All involved have worked hard to ensure that the safety, quality and effectiveness of the RSPCA Animal Health Products are comparable to the leading brands in the market."
RSPCA Flea Control for Dogs is a topspot product available in small, medium, large and extra large sizes. Each packet contains 4 pipettes (four month's supply).
RSPCA Heartwormer (for Dogs) is a monthly tablet and is available in three sizes for dogs. RSPCA Allwormer (for Cats and Dogs) is a tablet and available in two dog sizes and one cat size. The products are APVMA approved.
RSPCA Flea Control (for Dogs), RSPCA Allwormer (for Cats and Dogs) and RSPCA Heartwormer (for Dogs) are  available from  RSPCA retail outlets, public vet clinics and adoption centres, as well as private vet clinics, pet shops, pharmacies and online retailers.
